There are a lot of people who enjoy burning candles. How do you make candles last longer? Larger rooms will need a larger candle. The candles I burn are 16oz jars and are double wicked. Once you have decided where you are going to burn the candle check the wick. Wicks that are too tall can cause the candle to burn too hot. When you burn a votive candle it is recommended to use a votive holder. As the votive burns and the wax melts the votive holder will help the votive retain its original until it cools. There are a lot of different types of candles out there flameless candles, soot free candles, layered candles, votive candles, pillar candles and more. Happy burning!
